St. Paul, Minn. — You may have been unaware if you plugged a meter, but Friday is PARK(ing) Day.

The world-wide event is designed to empower people to reclaim parking spots from cars and make a statement about the urban habitat.

Chris Roberts of Minnesota Public Radio's "Arts Unit" caught up with PARK(ing) Day participant Troy Gallas in the warehouse district of Minneapolis.

Gallas is one of the leaders of "Works Progress," the group that organized "PARK(ing) Day 2010" in Minneapolis.
