Minneapolis, Minn. — A maintenance worker secured pieces of the Interstate 35W bridge collapse wreckage onto a trailer in Minneapolis, Minn. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010. The debris, which was considered evidence in the collapse legal cases, has been stored at Bohemian Flats in Minneapolis, but now the Minnesota Department of Transportation is moving it to a storage facility. Minnesota's oddly warm winter put the kibosh on the annual John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, but another competition -- on foot, bike or skis -- gave extreme athletes a chance to test their mettle Up North. The Arrowhead 135 endurance race on Jan. 30 from International Falls to the Fortune Bay Casino in Tower Tower, attracted entrants from all over the country. First place eventually went to Kevin Breitenbach, of Alaska.
