Blackhawks' Byfuglien bringing Stanley Cup to Roseau

St. Paul, Minn. — The National Hockey League's championship trophy is historically hosted by each member of the league's top team. And, this Sunday, Dustin Byfuglien of the Championship Chicago Blackhawks has chosen to bring the trophy to his hometown.

Byfuglien is already in Roseau, and the cup will arrive Sunday. They're both scheduled for a parade through the town voted as Minnesota's hockey capitol at 2 p.m. Then it'll be on display at Roseau's Memorial Arena until 5 p.m.

The cup can't travel on it's own, of course. It has an NHL chaperone. His name is Mike Bolt and he spoke to us by cellphone from Buffalo, N.Y., where Blackhawks star Patrick Kane brought it for display.

Bolt has the enviable job of spending a lot of time with what he calls the "People's Trophy."
