Regional Spotlight: From Age to Age
August 11, 2010
St. Paul, Minn. —
From Age to Age is a new choral group in Minnesota. Their motto is, "Changing the World One Concert at a Time."
The ensemble seeks to perform for audiences that are traditionally underserved by the arts -- nursing homes, rural communities, churches, and more -- while it contributes 10% of all proceeds to humanitarian organizations.
From Age to Age currently supports The One Acre Fund which helps starving Kenyan families lift themselves out of poverty by teaching sustainable agricultural practices.
The ensemble also supports The Central Asia Institute (Three Cups of Tea) which builds schools in rural areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan, promoting peace through education.
It is my pleasure to introduce to you From Age to Age in their first ever radio broadcast on Regional Spotlight.
