$1,000 reward offered in St. Paul hit-and-run death

St. Paul, Minn. — A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a driver suspected of intentionally running over a 54-year-old man in St. Paul.

Danny Elwin Wright died after he was hit early Saturday morning in the Union Gospel Mission parking lot on University Avenue.

Witnesses told police they saw a dark green or blue, two-door car following Wright. The male driver yelled at Wright and then ran him down in the parking lot before fleeing the scene.

Police said the car likely has damage to front end, hood or roof.
