With 169 shows playing at 19 venues around Minneapolis and St. Paul, the choices at the Minnesota Fringe Festival can be overwhelming.

Fringe fan and volunteer photographer Scott Pakudaitis is taking the whole week off work so he can see as much of the festival as humanly possible. He's seen 22 shows since the Fringe started on Thursday, and he has another 33 still on his itinerary between now and Sunday.

Scott's favorite so far: "SemiDarkness"

The worst so far: "The Failed Voyage of the Failed Ororo"

Best Costumes: "Bat Mama, a Vaudvillian Evening of Shtick, Song and Dance"

Best Arabic Drum Human Beat-Boxing: "Always Take Your Celebrity Guests to Wal-Mart (and other adventures in dance)"

Most Innovative Uses for a Giant Inflatable Air Mattress: "Femme de la Swashbuckle Box." "One of the best dance concerts I have ever seen in my life," Pakudaitis said.
