Minn. police say driver hits, injures man, flees
St. Paul, Minn. (AP) — St. Paul police are asking the public for help after a driver allegedly struck a pedestrian and fled, leaving the victim critically injured.
Police say the incident happened Saturday about 5 a.m. They believe the driver struck the man, 55, intentionally and say they're treating the case as an aggravated assault.
Officers who reported to the scene found the victim lying in the parking lot. He was taken to a hospital.
Witnesses told police the driver was a male. He was apparently driving a two-door blue or green car.
Authorities say the car likely has fresh damage to the front end, hood or roof. They ask that anyone with information come forward.
