Man charged in fatal shooting at Rosemount car wash
by Elizabeth Dunbar, Minnesota Public RadioSt. Paul, Minn. — Authorities have filed second-degree murder charges against a 27-year-old Burnsville man in the shooting death of another man at a car wash in Rosemount.
The Dakota County Attorney charged Jonas Gerald Grice on Friday in the death of 22-year-old Anthony Hartman.
Hartman was killed while trying to intervene in a dispute between a friend and Grice at Car Spa on Monday evening.
Grice later surrendered to police. He made his first court appearance Friday, and a judge set bail at $1 million.
Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom said he plans to convene a grand jury in the case soon to consider first-degree murder charges.
