In an afternoon of conversation at the Aspen Ideas Festival, Microsoft Chair Bill Gates discusses his ideas for improving education and health care. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has given more than $16 billion in grants since its inception, many to improve education and health care around the world.
Also, taking the stage just after Gates, Geoffrey Canada discusses his work improving education for children who attend the worst performing schools.
