National Dems highlight Bachmann race in Minn.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) announced today that it has added state Sen. Tarryl Clark to what it calls its "Red to Blue" program. The committee helps Democratic challengers in U.S. House races raise money through its website.
Clark says being on the list will give her fundraising and other help.
"They are certainly able to help us bring in people that can communicate with voters in the 6th District about what it would be like to have someone who was standing up and fighting for them, working with us on strategy," Clark said.
The DCCC is targeting 26 races in the program.

Spokeswoman Gabby Adler says Clark and the other Democrats challenging Republicans on the list can count on fundraising and strategic help with their campaigns.
"Whether it comes to fundraising or getting out the vote on your election day, also potentially helping line up surrogates to come out to the district, it all just depends on the needs of the campaign," Adler said.
Through the end of the March, Clark had raised just over $1.1 million for her campaign, while Bachmann had taken in more than double that.
The DCCC says during the last election cycle the "Red to Blue" program helped to raise more than $26 million dollars for selected candidates.
