Section of I-35W to close each night this week

St. Paul, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation plans to close northbound Interstate 35W at Highway 62 each night this week.

Construction crews are trying to remove the temporary westbound Highway 62 bridge spanning the interstate.

Northbound I-35W will be closed from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. each day this week. In addition, the northbound lanes of I-35W between Highway 62 and 46th Street will close this weekend starting at 10 p.m. Friday.

MnDOT says motorists should follow the detour signs during the closures.
