UnitedHealth and YMCA act to prevent diabetes

UnitedHealth Group is going to start paying for a novel diabetes prevention program. The Minnetonka-based health insurer is announcing today it will reimburse YMCAs in six cities -- including Minneapolis/St. Paul -- for offering programs that are proven to cut people's risk for the disease.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Dr. Deneen Vojta, Senior Vice President of UnitedHealth's Center for Health Reform.
