Hecker accused of wrongly cashing in children's trust fundby Martin Moylan, Minnesota Public Radio
St. Paul, Minn. — The trustee in former auto mogul Denny Hecker's bankruptcy case is once again accusing Hecker of financial shenanigans.
Trustee Randall Seaver says Hecker wrongly cashed in trust funds for Hecker's children and grandchildren.
Seaver alleges the money --some $75,000--was slated to buy real estate that was to be sold as part of Hecker's bankruptcy.
But the buyer was allegedly portrayed not as Hecker but as a friend of Hecker's.
The friend, Ralph Thomas, had loaned Hecker $150,000 for his legal defense. Thomas says he was unaware his name was used in the transaction, which was never completed.
Hecker declined comment. Hecker's bankruptcy attorney was not available.
