St. Paul, Minn. — Caritas is a very special ensemble.

Founded in 2002, they only perform for the benefit of non-profit organizations whose mission is to provide basic human services.

The ten-member group has a repertoire that spans centuries, and their singing is a delight.

Several concerts this spring will benefit a neighborhood food shelf, a parish nursing program among others. I'll feature three pieces recently performed by the Caritas Vocal Ensemble on this afternoon's Regional Spotlight.

Tota Pulchras Es - Maurice Durufle

Lord, Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace - Peter Niedmann

At the Earth's Imagined Corners - Williametta Spencer
