St. Paul, Minn. — Five albums into his stunning solo career, Brooklyn-based acoustic artist Clarence Greenwood, known to the public as Citizen Cope, has once again charmed the independent music world with his newest release, "The Rainwater LP."

Greenwood, who originally hails from Washington, D.C., is currently on a major national tour in support of the album. Due to his ever-growing popularity, which itself is largely owed to his extensive touring, the tour has him booked into some of the country's most prestigious theatres, often with multiple dates per city. He's playing two sold-out shows at the Varsity Theater, but also found time to stop by the Current studios for a performance.

Songs performed: "Healing Hands" and "Sideways."
