Caroline Smith and Jesse Schuster perform in The Current Studios

St. Paul, Minn. — Caroline Smith and the Goodnight Sleeps released their debut album, "Backyard Tent Set" in 2008. After being named one of the best new bands that year, the group has slowly built a local following among indie folk fans. Apart from the bands success, Smith has received praise for her solo performances.

Accompanied by her bass player Jesse Schuster, she recorded a live album over two nights of performances at The Cedar Cultural Center. "Live at the Cedar" showcases older and rarer tracks from the Good Night Sleeps as well has Smith's solo work.

Caroline Smith stopped by The Current studios for a performance on The Local Show.
