St. Paul, Minn. — The Arms Akimbo is made up of brothers Nick and Ian Schaster and friend Chris Dillon. After a brief stint as The Serfs, the trio reformed in early 2009 with a new name and sound. The Arms Akimbo's Brit-infused style channels The Beatles, The Who and the Kinks, creating guilt-free pop gems.

The Arms Akimbo's latest EP, "You Want To," was recorded and co-produced by Eric Lovold from the Alarmists at his Instrument Control Studios. A full-length release can be expected in the spring.

The Arms Akimbo stopped by The Current studios for a live performance on The Local Show.

Songs performed: "You Want To," "Wit of The Staircase," "Paved The Way," "Giving Up for Good" (Web exclusive)"
