Regional Spotlight: American Songs

St. Paul, Minn. — Baritone Thomas Hampson sounds like melted chocolate. His deep, rich sound is perfect for the gold mine of American songs he has re-discovered and performs on his recitals.

Hampson's performance from last season's Beethoven Festival in Winona was a sell-out. Hearing these songs - highlights from his all- American song program - will tell you why.

This Thanksgiving afternoon, Thomas Hampson is in the Classical MPR Regional Spotlight.
