St. Paul, Minn. —
New guidelines recommending against yearly mammograms for women between the ages of 40 and 49 are creating confusion and anxiety among women, and stirring anger in the medical community.
While some say the new guidelines are a welcome change, many doctors say they will continue to recommend yearly screening for women over 40.
