GOP's Anderson sketches out bid for Minn. governor
St. Paul, Minn. (AP) — Exactly one year from the 2010 election, former State Auditor Pat Anderson is sketching out what she'd do as Minnesota governor.
Anderson sets off Monday on a 14-city tour covering four days. She's the only Republican in the field who has won a statewide race before.
She has been chasing GOP delegate support for months and finished third in an early October straw poll at a Republican state convention.
Anderson served one term as auditor. She won the office in 2002 and lost a reelection bid in 2006.
Republicans will endorse a candidate in April. There are eight declared candidates.
Incumbent Gov. Tim Pawlenty isn't seeking another term.
