Minneapolis — Minneapolis police officials reported Friday that a man allegedly responsible for a string of recent robberies has been arrested and charged for robbing a candy store.

The man was charged Thursday in connection with the Oct. 19 robbery of the Candy Jar in south Minneapolis.

Investigators also said the man is a suspect in the Sept. 25 robbery of Ebu Design Jewelry and the Oct. 17 robbery of Lake Harriet Florist. He has not been charged in connection with those incidents.

"Further criminal charges are expected as these investigations, and possibly others, continue," police officials said in a statement.
