The Guthrie Theater's smallest stage will be packed with more than 70 performers this weekend for the North American premiere of Minnesota playwright Kevin Kling's new musical.
"Northern Lights/Southern Cross" features Native American dancers, a gospel choir, an aboriginal Australian storyteller and even a Djiridou.
Kling stars in the show, which is based in part on the 2001 motorcycle accident that nearly killed him and paralyzed his arm.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Kling.
