She says she started playing guitar at the age of 12, and now, firmly planted in middle-age, Ann Reed is still plucking, strumming and writing songs on her 12-string.

Ann is releasing yet another new album this year. Titled "Where the Earth Is Round," it features new songs about love, life, loons and even pink guitars.

Ann performed some of her new material on Radio Heartland.

Songs performed: "Pink Guitar," "A Song For the End of Day," "Loons on Lake Calhoun" and "Where the Earth is Round."
