Masterpiece is in the eye of the beholderby Phil Picardi, Minnesota Public Radio
This week, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts opened an exhibit of works from Paris' Louvre Museum called "The Louvre and the Masterpiece."
The display has works by unknown artists of antiquity as well as acknowledged masters from Michelangelo, to Vermeer, to Leonardo Vinci.
MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with Morning Edition arts commentator and St. Paul Pioneer Press theater critic Dominic Papatola about the exhibit.
