12-year-old Faribault boy struck and killed while riding bike

Faribault, Minn. (AP) — A 12-year-old boy crossing the street on his bike has been struck and killed in Faribault.

Police Chief Dan Collins says the unidentified child was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash Wednesday afternoon. He was struck by an eastbound vehicle at a Faribault intersection.

The accident is under investigation.
