St. Paul, Minn. (AP) — A manhunt for an escaped murder suspect is over.
St. Paul police chased the suspect to I-94 and White Bear Ave., where they evacuated a Target store Sunday afternoon in their search for the man who escaped from the Ramsey County workhouse.
The search eventually moved to a neighborhood behind the store, where officers went door to door with guns drawn. Police found the man in one of the homes and arrested him.
Authorities say he's a suspect in a murder last July.
A Ramsey County workhouse spokesman says the suspect might have had help in his escape.
