Owatonna boy dies after falling from tree

Owatonna, Minn. (AP) — A 14-year-old has died after falling from a tree in Owatonna.

Owatonna police say they responded to a home at about 1:20 p.m. on Friday. Rescue workers and law enforcement officers provided emergency treatment at the scene, but the boy was pronounced dead.

Police say the death appears to be accidental. An investigation is under way.
