70th anniversary of World War II

St. Paul, Minn. — On this day in 1939 German troops rolled into Poland, beginning World War II. Neville Chamberlain declared war, FDR declared neutrality. Minnesotan Charles Lindbergh addressed the America First rally. Hear their voices, and an historian, on Midday.
