Man found dead in car in Minneapolis

Minneapolis (AP) — Minneapolis police are investigating the death of a man found with a gunshot wound inside his crashed vehicle.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired about 10:30 p.m. Monday. They found two unoccupied vehicles that had been hit by gunfire. While officers were processing that scene, they were called to an accident in a nearby alley.

Police say they found a vehicle had hit a telephone pole. Inside the vehicle was a man who had suffered a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
