Downtown Mpls streets closed for Vikings game
by Madeleine Baran, Minnesota Public RadioSt. Paul, Minn. — The City of Minneapolis will close several streets around the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome tonight as a security measure for the Minnesota Vikings preseason game.
The following streets will be closed at 5 p.m.:
Fifth St. from 11th Ave. to Park Ave.
Chicago Ave.from Third St. to Sixth St.
Fourth St.from Park Ave. to I-35W
Norm McGrew Place, from Third St. to Fourth St.
These roads will reopen about one hour after the completion of the Vikings game.
