My first recession: Jason Howard

Economists are eager to see Friday's report about gross domestic product in the U.S. GDP is a key factor in determining whether the country is going into or out of recession.

Most analysts predict the economy is still shrinking, but at a much slower rate. We'll see if they're right tomorrow.

This week, we've been highlighting the stories of teenagers experiencing their first recession. At the same time, we're asking you for the story of your first recession. What impact did it have you, and on the way you're dealing with this recession?

One of the people we heard from is Jason Howard. He's a sales rep who lives in Minneapolis and he has some vivid memories of the early 1980s.
