St. Paul, Minn. — The futuristic-electro-rock French four-piece Phoenix grew out of the same music scene that sprouted bands like Air and Daft Punk.

With the release of their fourth and latest album, "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix," Phoenix started from scratch and worked on their album by writing in different places like a boat on the Seine River in France or a hotel in New York City. They also tried working outside of their comfort zone by bringing new people into the writing process.

Songs performed: "Lisztomania," "1901," and "Playground Love" (Air cover written by Thomas Mars).
