Art Hounds: Week of May 14

by Chris Roberts, Minnesota Public Radio
LISTEN

Each week Minnesota Public Radio News asks three people from the Minnesota arts scene to be "Art Hounds." Their job is to step outside their own work and hunt down something exciting that's going on in local arts.

Find out how you can become an Art Hound.

This week:

Bradley Greenwald is a singer and actor in the Twin Cities. Bradley has long been impressed with the work of Open Eye Figure Theater in Minneapolis, and he plans to see Open Eye's latest production, "Dummy: A Display." It's about a pair of 1950s era ventriloquists who were once romantically linked. "Dummy: A Display," runs through May 30.

Teri Anvid is curator at Barbette in Minneapolis. Teri's favorite art space at the moment is Umber Gallery in Minneapolis. She went to see Final Notice: Keegan Wenkman & Aaron Becker, an exhibiton of ink drawings at Umber through May 31.
