35W settlement the first of many
by Tom Crann, Minnesota Public RadioApril 16, 2009
As of today, all 179 victims who sued the state for the 35W bridge collapse have agreed to settlements with the state of Minnesota. State legislators set up a fund of $37 million to be distributed amongst the survivors and families of the victims.
Susan Holden headed up the panel that oversaw the settlement process, and MPR's Tom Crann asked if this settlement means that all of the bridge collapse victims are satisfied with the terms.
