St. Paul, Minn. — Propelled by the support of bloggers early on in their career, the Cold War Kids have maintained their mystique and draw to keep the buzz going.

Matt Aveiro, Matt Maust, Jonnie Russell and Nathan Willett, the four members of the band, began recording demos in 2004 and released their first EP in 2005. A mix of jarringly soulful vocals and coarsely layered instrumentation gives the band their intimate yet theatrical sound that leaves their audiences guessing about what might come out next. Their last album, "Loser to Loyalty," was released in 2008.

Songs performed: "Mexican Dogs," "Every Man I Fall For," and "Sermons Versus The Gospel."
