Remembering long-time radio host Steven Cannon

For a couple of decades, Steve Cannon hosted his WCCO radio show called The Cannon Mess.

He spoke to listeners, and voiced a stable of oddball fictional characters, who joined him on an afternoon drive time show that was extremely popular in the Twin Cities.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with WCCO radio meteorologist Mike Lynch about Cannon the person, and his legendary career.
