The head of the Minneapolis Federal Reserve is stepping down. Gary Stern has held the post for 24 years. In that time he has argued strenuously against allowing financial institutions to grow so big that they can't fail.

Minnesota Public Radio's Chief Economics correspondent Chris Farrell joined Tom Crann in the studio.
