by Chris Roberts, Minnesota Public Radio
April 2, 2009

LISTEN

Each week Minnesota Public Radio News asks three people from the Minnesota arts scene to be "Art Hounds." Their job is to step outside our own work and hunt down something exciting that's going on this weekend.

This Week:

Malia Cole is marketing and communications director for Mixed Blood Theatre in Minneapolis. Malia recommends James Sewell Ballet's annual Spring concert, which is being performed at O'Shaughnessy Auditorium on the campus of the College of St. Catherine, April 2-5. The concert will include an original score by Twin Cities composer Mary Ellen Childs.

Katie Kaufmann is an actor, director and collaborative theater maker in the Twin Cities. Katie is looking forward to seeing Frank Theater's production "By the Bog of Cats," on stage at the Guthrie Theater's Dowling Studio through April 5th.
