Thomas Ricks at the Commonwealth Club

Pulitzer prize winning Washington Post reporter Thomas Ricks discusses the Iraq war and his new book about that war, "The Gamble."

Ricks has covered the U.S. military for more than twenty years, currently for the Washington Post and previously for the Wall Street Journal. He has twice won the Pulitzer Prize, once for a series of articles on how the U.S. military might change to meet the new demands of the 21st century.
