How do Minnesotans see the state of the union?

St. Paul, Minn. — When President Barack Obama gives his first speech before a joint session of Congress tonight, it won't technically be billed as a "State of the Union" address, but Obama will likely use part of his speech to assess how America is doing.

Will the president be able to say the country is "strong," even as we face the worst economic crisis in generations?

Minnesota Public Radio's Curtis Gilbert spent yesterday asking Minnesotans how they would describe the state of the union.
