Art Hounds: Week of Feb, 11

St. Paul, Minn. — "Art Hounds" is a new weekly feature from MPR News.
It's a glimpse of what's going on in the regional art scene through the eyes and ears of members of Minnesota's arts community.
Each week, three Art Hounds will tell us about a performance, opening or event they've seen or are planning to see.
This week:
Kate Nordstrom is Director of Music Programming at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis. Kate is looking forward to a dance concert by the Batsheva Dance Company from Israel. Batsheva performs this Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Northrop Auditorium.

Don Eitel is Managing Director of Mu Performing Arts in Minneapolis. Don is very interested to see Cromulent Shakespeare Company's "Midwinter Repertory: Richard III, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame." It's on stage at the Theater Garage in Minneapolis through Feb. 28.

Michael Francis Brown and Casey James Garvey play in the Minneapolis indie rock band "Yer Cronies." Brown and Garvey say a good musical bet this Valentine's Day is the electronic duo, Lookbook, at the Kitty Kat Club.
