Birds a constant problem at Twin Cities airport

Officials say the U.S. Airways plane that crashed into the Hudson River in New York yesterday apparently hit a flock of birds. Birds also are a major issue at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with John Ostrom, who heads the bird mitigation program at the airport. He also chairs the Bird Strike Committee USA, which works to reduce the frequency and severity of such collisions.
