Golden Animals perform live in The Current studio

St. Paul, Minn. — They met in Brooklyn where the duo of guitarist Tommy Eisner and drummer Linda Beecroft created the bluesy psychedelic folk rock of Golden Animals. After the release of their first EP in 2006, they moved to southern California for a more laidback atmosphere to write their full-length.

Produced by Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, Blonde Redhead), Golden Animals released their album "Free Your Mind and Win a Pony" on Happy Parts Recordings.
