President, U.S. Senate, Congress, and the Minnesota House of Representatives are the major races in the campaign of 2008. This is the first presidential election without an incumbent or sitting vice president involved since 1952.
Presidential candidates discuss service
On the seventh anniversary of September 11th, presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain shared the stage at Columbia University in New York City for the Service Nation Presidential Forum moderated by Judy Woodruff of PBS's The News Hour with Jim Lehrer and Richard Stengel, managing editor of Time magazine.
