Law professor Tom Berg talks about religion and the law

St. Paul, Minn. — First, the Metropolitan Airports Commission can still suspend the licenses of muslim cab drivers if, they refuse rides on religious grounds to people carrying alcohol or service dogs. The ruling this week from the Minnesota Court of appeals said that drivers can still operate their cabs while appealing such a suspension.

Then, Gold'n Plump reached a tentative settlement with muslim employees requesting prayer breaks. The poultry company is based in Saint Cloud and it's now giving all workers in part of its processing plant a 10-minute break.

Tom Berg joined Tom Crann for some background on religion and labor law. Berg is a law professor at the University of St Thomas. He's an expert in Constitiutional Law and religious liberty.
