VocalEssence celebrates its 40th season

Minnesota is one of the best places in the country to hear choral music. There are many reasons why. At the top of the list of choral music movers is Minneapolis' Philip Brunelle, who founded VocalEssence four decades ago.

• Maria Jette: Lyric soprano, and regular soloist with VocalEssence. She has appeared with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, New York Chamber Symphony, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and Minnesota Orchestra, among others.
