Twin Cities survive RNC and protests

Protests were one of the biggest unknowns ahead of the Republican National Convention. No one knew who would show up outside the convention or what they'd do when they got there.

There were hundreds of arrests and complaints by both demonstrators and police. But the convention wasn't interrupted, and St. Paul survived with not much more than a few broken windows.

Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer talked with MPR's Tim Nelson, who spent the last four days on both sides of the police lines.
