Police use tear gas to control protesters (contains strong language)


LISTEN

On Monday, Sept. 1, the opening day of the Republican National Convention, throughout St. Paul, there were numerous clashes between protesters and police. Monday afternoon, police engaged protesters with tear gas near Shepard Road in St. Paul. Minnesota Public Radio's Michael Caputo recorded the confrontation as police deployed tear gas.
