State Fair show will celebrate 150 years of Minnesota statehood

St. Paul, Minn. — The centerpiece of the Big Top State Fair Chautauqua will be "The Old Minnesota Show: Song of the North Star" presented by Warren Nelson and his Big Top Chautauqua Orchestra and Singers.
Nelson said this is just the latest in a series of history-based musical shows he's been creating since the 1970s.
Nelson will present "The Old Minnesota Show: Song of the North Star" four times a day at the Big Top State Fair Chautauqua for the duration of the Minnesota State Fair.
He will then return to his usual venue of the Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield, Wisconsin.
