The focus of the world has been on the Olympics, and on its host city Beijing.
Melody Ng, who works in the Minnesota Public Radio newsroom, is on vacation in Beijing. Melody lived in China from 1993 to 1995, and speaks Mandarin. On this trip back, she's had an up-close look at how hosting the Olympics has affected China. She talked with Morning Edition's Cathy Wurzer about what it's like to be in Beijing right now.
